    上萬輛遭查扣電動自行車被拍賣,再度打亂市場

    在歐洲檢察官辦公室(EPPO)調查行動「Calypso」當中遭查扣的至少1萬輛電動自行車及電動滑板車,近期被以低價拍賣。該案尚調查中,EPPO表示,拍賣收入185萬歐元僅能彌補該案造成的經濟損失一小部分。歐洲自行車製造商協會(EBMA)發言人表示:「這不是我們想看到的結果,我們寧願這些車輛直接被報廢。」

    USWE revenue down double digits while shifting to dealer-direct distribution

    USWE Sports Group's shift from distributor sales towards a higher proportion of direct sales to retailers weighed on its first-quarter performance.     Auction of thousands confiscated e-bikes causes the next market disruption

    No less than 10,000 e-bikes and e-scooters seized in the course of the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) investigation Calypso have been auctioned at bargain prices. According to EPPO, the sale generated €1.85 million, a small part of the financial effects from the ongoing investigation. "This is not what we want, and we would rather have them scrapped," said an EBMA spokesperson representing the European bicycle industry.

    Giant Group has announced the acquisition of approximately 36% of D.Mag (Kunshan) New Material Technology Co., Ltd. for RMB 597 million (€ 76 million) raising its consolidated stake from 60.39% to 96.63% upon completion. D.Mag is a manufacturing subsidiary of Giant Group and the Samoa-registered investment firm, United King Limited.
